I apologize if this isnt the right place to post this but it breaks my heart that it is being encouraged to accept men into the deep emotional trauma that abortion can lead to. Many husbands, boyfriends, partners ARE affected. No one but women experiences abortion. No one but women experiences the consequence of abortion.

Also no one but women experience the consequences of not having an abortion.

I'm ok if more men are aware of our struggles instead of women "taking care of it." Bleh! I had a man take off on me right after a really dramatic, late miscarriage so I hope other women are supported when they're dealing with any semi capacitating repro stuff. The alternative is lonely and then you're tasked with eating the feckless man's corpse.

I agree with you but as a woman who has had an abortion and been part of abortion support groups, I don't like the way it's portrayed as this super traumatic event for most women. I think this marginalize and stigmatizes abortion further. A small percentage of women do experience trauma but most women that choose abortion on their own are not traumatized, they're relieved. Abortion is safer than carrying to term, both mentally and physically. I was not traumatized by my abortion, I don't feel bad about it, I thought it was very inconvenient and I hated the pregnancy. But emotionally it was a very easy decision. And I want to have children on my own, just not at that time.

I think the "men" in the picture are simply transmen. So women.
