Reddit banned many subs, we all know here they didn't actually ban the abusive subs, the subs which allow rape fantasies, violent porn etc. Earlier today reddit banned the sub reddit banfemalehatesubs, it was a subreddit that wanted to ban the rape fantasy subreddits etc, yet, they banned that but haven't banned the rape and violent porn subs, it's disgusting.

I wanted to add to another harmful sub that I've not seen anyone talk about yet which is a harmful sub, the roastme sub. How is this sub even allowed? I first found out about the sub through GC on reddit. I was horrified when I looked at roastme, I can't understand why this sub is allowed, it's basically a sub that allows bullying and abusive comments towards people - the comments aren't even funny, they are vile and they are vile and horrible in how they treat people.

A lot of the pictures posted seemed to be of women. That reddit allows this sub to stay up is harmful to people and allows a bullying culture to take place on reddit. If we are going to be censoring anything on reddit, it should be subs like roastme, the rape and violent porn subs. It's concerning to me roastme, especially if vulnerable people are taking part in it, this can't be good for their mental health or the mental health of anyone else. It feels so wrong to me that a sub like roastme exists on that site.

If reddit has shown me anything over the past few hours, it has shown me that it wants to crack down on freedom of speech but not abusive, violent and harmful content.
