Ah, that changes it all. I wasn't at the old debate sub and I joined here this year. So, I don't know who Snarky is.

I invited Snarky here, but he declined. I think he didn't want to join Saidit. One of our more interesting posters from the old debate sub. We lost a lot of good QT people in the transition. Although I think Snarky was more of a transmedicalist.

Hi! I decided to come back over here. I miss Snarky too along with MrFahrenheit. It still makes me mad that the subbreddit was banned when we had so many interesting people. I hope Snarky is ok because that situation was really scary.

At least some of the regulars are still around! I remember when someone posted a genderdifficult board, but sadly I don't think it ever took off!

I mostly hang out on Ovarit now, but I still come by here on a regular basis. We have more of the GC crowd, but a lot of our old trans and QT posters are missing. Awww, I probably won't really start engaging the actual topics, tbh...I'm active on Discord, and occasionally chat in some debate-related servers, but only to socialize. I don't even know what I'd argue, looking at these topics...I was never very QT, but these days it's even more true. I'm even dating a straight woman, which I think is probably breaking a trans rule somewhere? Not full GC either though, so ¯\(ツ)/¯

Took a quick glance at Ovarit after seeing it mentioned here, but I'd assume that's not a debate space so much as a venting space?

Ha, now you're a major dissident. I'm glad you're doing well. How's your dog? I think you showed me a picture once. Do you hang out on Reddit much? I'm still there, but mostly on r/antikink.

Ovarit is way more political. There's a lot of venting, but it's also a good place to share news stories and have discussions. I try to be a voice of moderation there, but most of the posters are very hardcore GC. I mean, I'm GC, too. After the banwave, I guess I got more "radical" if you can call it that, but I haven't lost hope for compromise. I really still wish both sides could get along. I tend to see the TRA movement as toxic, but not all trans people are part of it. Some of the most toxic people are actually not even trans themselves. It's a fight against ideology, not individuals. At least that's how I see it.
