Again, more proof that humans should never have access to firearms. People don't use guns as protection. They use them to murder other humans. Period. First of all we need to stop access to guns in the most harsh and punitive ways we possibly can, and run all gun manufacturers out of business (I realize given the money they generate, that's like asking Hawaii to stop promoting surfing) - and then we go after every criminal scumbag out there and lock them away, even if they've only had one conviction or one charge of illegal firearms possession. Big Brother might not be the worst idea after all - since giving people freedom means they always (ALWAYS) abuse it with lethal and execrable behaviors.
