u/Jasoncarswell left because the site owner (magnora7) didn't want him owning more than 40 subs and when Jason refused to comply, he stripped Jason of all of them. He still comes around when he's drunk on a different name.

u/Hongkongphooey got mad at an admin that banned his alt account for posting porn but wasn't banning spam accounts.

u/d3rr latest deletion is him simping, although he still shows up on a different name sometimes.

I don't know about the others. Lots of people have come and gone over the years though.

Edit: I remember now, u/useless_aether was banned by m7 after they argued. He was a prolific poster and that wasn't a popular decision. https://saidit.net/s/ElectionsUSA2020/comments/4zay/aoc_spills_the_beans_we_already_knew_this_now_its/inr7

/u/QuantumLegion - users do not leave because of one problem. Carswell was angry with the site owner and others on the site for over a year, complaining on a regular basis. HongKongPhooey was also annoyed regularly with several users and admins for over a year. d3rr was not "simping". He returns occasionally. He was annoyed with Saidit for over 2 years and stopped contributing much after a disagreement with the site owner. Users who leave sometimes return with different usernames. Sometimes Saidit is an informative place for discussions. There are some users who are as dumb as they are assholes, and can be 'blocked' or otherwise avoided during some of those discussions.
