Anyone else notice some users talk in a chatGPT manner?

I had this guy respond to a saidit post today https://saidit.net/user/Deerbambi

However I remember seeing another guy who had similar walls of text.

It gives me chatGPT vibes. They add nothing to the discussion and talk the obvious stuff which everyone already knows about.

How common is this? Should we ban users who talk too much chatGPT like?

EDIT: I learned this individual goes by the name of Edward. He has been disrupting this website for a long time.

This is one guy who goes by Edward. He has been banned many times and creates many new accounts. I recommend just blocking him as soon as you recognize him, he is quite insane

We sure do, lol, its a small community, users become quite familiar with one another to the point where users who create new account names are recognized almost immediately

    Who is this Edward?

    Well according to Edward, he is a narcissistic sociopath genius in his 60's who lives on boat in a harbor in Texas somewhere. He collects disability due to having a long criminal record and a history of mental illness. He really likes posting pictures of trannies with penises, and says he is writing a c-language stock trading bot to make him a billionaire, it has lost money for the last 18 years, but he assures us its almost solved. He often regales us with stories about donkey shows in mexico and a serial killer friend who mutilates his victims.

    Why does he go on and on with all of this chat GPT scam?

    Nobody is sure why he does any of the things he does, he is clearly a very disturbed individual

                              I have noticed this too. I think they are trying to put the genie back in the bottle, so to speak. There is a lawyer who was using chat gpt in his work and he said that one day it just stopped working right. This was months ago. Clearly open AI put the kabash on that so lay people can't put up an effective legal fight on their own. Looks like they are purposefully degrading all of chat GPTs performance because it is empowering the wrong people.

                              It's very clevar actually. If they just turned it off then people would be upset. But this way they can just convice everyone that it was over hyped bullshit and no one will feel like they are losing anything valuable.

                              I think some of it is bots. But I’ll also say that a lot of people are basically NPCs in one form or another with no real thoughts on their own that differ substantially from what everyone already knows. They’ve never read books above the YA level, they believe what TeeVee and Facebook and the news tells them.
