Ask the community of saidit a question!
Can we periodically nominate one sane person on Saidit to pin a good post at the top of /s/whatever or /s/politics once per day, so that we don't lose new users?

So nicely ask users to post and explain how it will help the site. Something like: if you can find one interesting or newsworthy link per day/week, it will strengthen user interaction and discourse. Don't talk down to them about how we have too many insane users.
edit: changed belp to help

It doesn't work. Non-schizo-dumbass posts don't get votes and thus aren't seen. Look for example at some of the posts by some of the users I list above. They'll get only a couple votes, while the "Michelle Obama's a Man" post gets lots of votes. I argue that it can help if mods pin a reasonable post, it wil be seen and become part of the face of Saidit, rather than retarded anti-vax nonsense.
