No, democracy may be better than monarchy, but it is far from an ideal system of governance.

Democracy takes tyranny of an individual and turns it into tyranny of the majority (i.e. mob rule). If you are in the minority on a given issue in a democracy, you are in the same situation as if the edict had come from an individual.

Good governance can only exist with the consent of the governed

Natural law and game theory tell us that people will naturally form certain arrangements voluntarily in group situations. Agreements such as not to go around murdering each other and stealing from each other. Furthermore, game theory tells us that these arrangements actually optimize the well-being of the group at large.

Only an informed public, can be a functioning democracy. Otherwise, it is just a populist reactionary government, led by whomever can sway the ignorant masses.

Control the media/information and you control the people.

Well-proven tactic domestically and in coups against foreign governments.

People get the government they deserve.

People get there information from the people with the most money so the public are misinformed to vote against there interests to generate more revenue.

There is also no accountability in a democratic system as the public is blamed for all the wrongdoing. This overall decreases the mental health of the population who are made to feel guilty for their slavery.

There can be no long term planning done in a democratic system as everything is chunked into 4 year blocks so no great projects can be accomplished.

It turns communities and even families against one another so it deteriorates class cohesion. There's a reason the numbers are always close to 50/50.

Parties can split and coagulate against parties that actually have the publics interest at heart to keep the system intact.

Foreign powers can fund and influence certain parties to weaken an enemy state with ease not to mention private exploits.

Do you believe in neologism?

US is a corporation chartered by Association &c as a Republic ie Charter corporation. It never was and never will be a democracy, though half wits like pedo alan Dershowitz can say it is and use his propagandists to brainwash his base to push through laws favorable to his tribe.

Democracy, republic, etc., all corporations.

The majority (lower IQ) decides what's best, or thinks so after being brainwashed by media. No thanks.
