Cloudflare "Checking your browser" on Firefox stuck on endless loop

So this is starting to drive me nuts, it's not just on the Saidit login page but any site that uses cloudflare. I have a number of security settings and extensions, if I start with a new Firefox profile it works fine though.

Here's the errors I get in the developer console:

Some cookies are misusing the recommended “SameSite“ attribute

Cookie “cf_chl_2” does not have a proper “SameSite” attribute value. Soon, cookies without the “SameSite” attribute or with an invalid value will be treated as “Lax”. Blocked https://saidit.net/login from extracting canvas data because no user input was detected.

Cookie “cf_chl_rc_m” has been rejected because it is already expired.

This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”.

Things I've tried:

Started firefox in safe mode (no extensions), which makes me think it is some Firefox setting

changed privacy.firstparty.isolate to false

changed privacy.resistfingerprinting to false

changed tracking protection from strict to standard

It's probably extensions, but then again, we need those. One thing that worked for me on Saidit was to first go to https://saidit.net/login.compact, and then remove ".compact" from the URL. Apparently, the compact version is more tolerant about browsers, and then it starts a session and the regular login page will allow your visit as well. But obviously that's not a good solution if it's on more Cloudflare sites. What I recommend is that you disable extensions one by one until you find the culprit, then find an alternative for that. Perhaps it's Noscript or something of the like, in which case you need to make it more tolerant.

The tin-foil perspective: People are moving to safer, non-spy-browsers, away from Mozilla Firefox, and to privacy forks of Firefox. I think Google and Amazon are carefully using behind the scenes tech flaws to push people to use Google Chrome. It has a very disturbing percent of world browser use and, like Mozilla Firefox, is a full on spy-apparatus.

I've had a couple minor glitches like this in Firefox for other sites too. Default browser is now Chrome, with Firefox for oddball cases.
