It probably is knocks, full blown role playing larping. But this proposed ban is a slippery slope to ideological persecution. It's too late in the game to pivot this way.

Interesting and noteworthy, but how does that matter?

Would it make any difference if M7D3 created it?

I guess the real question then is, do you, the admins, and/or the community, want quantity or quality in an already overwhelming world of too much info blasting at us?

I would expect, like the response to my OP, the community would be divided but more than half would want quality over quantity.

The admins want to do as little work as possible while upholding the existing site rules and philosophy. Of course everyone prefers quality.

Also, SaidIt is much more than just SaidIt.

1) SaidIt is a site, as you imply.

2) SaidIt is a platform software, now with a much longer shelf life thanks to your Docker fix.

This platform needs our support in order go gather

Aside from decentralization, and despite the pros and cons, in my limited experience (I haven't hung out on the other Reddit-like forums) this platform is vastly superior to all others of its kind, regardless of their purpose or leanings.

3) SaidIt is a community.

Some may say we're large compared to the countless who try, but most might say we're small by comparison to the monopoly technocracy giants. Regardless we are strong like bull, strong like Sparta!

None of this would be possible without M7D3. magnora7 is a good "leader" and d3rr is a great anti-leader which makes for a powerfully dynamite team established on great respect earned through great ideas and proof of actions.

4) As all three above, SaidIt is the backbone that is branching out.

Whether it's WikiSpooks, FreedIt, Projex, or whatever else comes along to branch out or align with or be affiliated, allied, associated, related, sister sites, or however you define it, IMO we need to embrace these allegiances.

(As seems his way with others and me, M7 started warm but turned harsh and hasn't thawed out, as is his prerogative. Obviously I don't need his approval nor respect, but I also don't want to stir up shit unnecessarily, discredit myself, make presumptions, nor feel the need to ask if I could call Projex a sister-site, so I use "friendly". I do want to shout out and credit alliances, alignments, and inspirations, but using other sites as crutches would not be a good start much less a good look. Be sure to let me know if I ever inadvertently lean too far.)

IMO, we must accept that in these interesting trying times, solutions speak louder than words despite the pen's might over the sword. Solutions' seeds are planted on and branching from SaidIt.

Whether you want to be a hero in this corner of history or not, humble d3rr, you are, and SaidIt is much more than just SaidIt, and come what may, forever will be.
