Java drives 8/10 programmers to hatred. I hate all of this fucking javascript and 10mb web page downloads.

    10/10: be real here. Java was the first language they force-fed me AFTER i knew PROLOG and Delphi mostly.

    Beautiful programming doesn't need states like math doesn't need time. This is completely rational like math is completely believable.

    The point here is there is a certain mindset required to actually understand what beauty in this context means.

    Note: In my times they tried to rush "simple" minds into computer sciences. People that didn't get extinct until now, i believe that, 90 % of them wear ties now.

    This is the reason why people like me STILL can play tricks on them.

    They changed their ideas from "programming" to "getting rich". I never changed my ideas and less than 12 % of my definitions.

    I like the original Java. Modern scum hate Java because Java was good and modern scum hate everything that is good. Java 8 is still usable if one ignores the added crap. Java 11 has Java Modules which is totally depraved and completely ruins Java. Of course modern scum programmers ruin everything they touch.

    Of course JavaScript is horrible, which is why modern scum programmers like it.
