Oh man. Middle Earth for sure. In the Second Age, or early Third. Just be a man and live my life. Never seeing a wizard or a ringwraith or an elf, and maybe once or twice a dwarf.

Or perhaps as a hobbit of the Shire. A Bracegirdle or Proudfoot.
