It's a strawman strategy that you're using. You're drawing a fake line between what I actually said, versus a fake story which you can disprove.

Let's take this step by step so everyone can see your lies.

  1. You said "they're literally burning books now"

  2. Your statement was a hyperlink to a fake news story.

  3. The fake news story said that in "May 2022, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and Information Policy issued" an order "to destroy at least 100 million books that convey evil"

  4. This was fake news. First of all the number 100 million was conjured out of thin air by propagandists.

  5. It's not burning. No books are being destroyed as part of this initiative. Here's what happened. The government, which doesn't control libraries, recommended that libraries stop repurchasing soviet books when the currently circulating copies get too old. It's fake news propaganda

  6. Here's the original source https://www.rada.gov.ua/news/news_kom/232711.html

  7. Then you linked to a tweet from February a few weeks ago, dated the eve of the anniversary.

  8. It was a fake technique to link all these things

  9. Ukrainians have every right to reject ruzzian culture, the muscovite orcish culture of the rapist occupier

  10. If you really care then account for this....but you can't because your a faker propagandist

In the libraries of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk, Donetsk, Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Ukrainian historical and literary literature, which does not correspond to the postulates of Kremlin propaganda, began to be confiscated. Russian "military police" units were involved for this. Currently, in addition to repressive ones, they perform the so-called "ideological functions".

Police officers are most interested in books on the history of Ukrainian Maidans, ATO/OOS, and the history of Ukrainian liberation struggles. "Extremist" literature includes school textbooks on the history of Ukraine, scientific and popular historical literature.

The occupiers have a whole list of forbidden names. Among them: Mazepa, Petliura, Bandera, Shukhevich, Chornovil. In the cities of Kreminna, Rubizhne (Luhansk region), Horodnya (Chernihiv region), there are known cases of seizure of the book "The Case of Vasyl Stus" by Vakhtang Kipiani.

Found books are removed, destroyed on the spot or taken to an unknown destination.
