In other words, $21 trillion is the total value of adjustments made to the Pentagon’s financial records over those years that could not be traced.

That is not the same thing as $21 trillion in spending.

Most corrupt and unaccountable? I'm sure one could find a worse organisation somewhere. It probably wouldn't have as much funding though, unless there is some kind of massive illuminati-esque conspiracy organisation secretly ruling the world or something like that; that would probably have more funding, and probably be less accountable too.

Case in point: Look at the Iraq war. The first things done after winning the war was stabilize the oil production, and take over the central banks, and for US companies to rebuild all the destroyed buildings.

It's all for profit.

If it had anything to do with humanitarianism, the US would've stepped in in Rwanda in the 90s. But there was no profit there, so they let millions die.

The Yinon Plan deserves to be included in there somewhere.

Edit: Great post for newcomers BTW.

They're probably struggling to find a large enough pool of STEM candidates that have any interest in working for weapons contractors. Girls are generally better students (let's be honest), and they're an untapped population pool.

This shit is never going to work. The average girl is probably twice as compassionate as the average boy. If the boys aren't even signing up, then they're fucked.

The criticism of younger men concerning a lack of machismo is a positive development for the antiwar effort.

Military recruiters are less welcome than ever on campuses. This story is likely spin, but I'm glad you posted it so we are aware of their scheming.

They're desperate, and the cracks in the system are visible.

I'm glad to hear it. Let's keep it up.

Applied Satanism makes it sound semi-acceptable.

I'd go with something more like "Brainwashing minors" or "Mental rape" - or "Being an evil prick" :D

This seems like an excuse to find semi-psychopaths and sociopaths and turn them over to full blown insanity.

I truly believe the percentage of people who are psychopathic or sociopathic has been rising in the last 20 years - that where it was once less than 1% it is (somewhere between) 1 and 5% now.

They are breeding minions from our children.

I wonder if I could stand outside of a recruiter's office and hand out community college financial aid flyers.

My understanding is that the college aid the military ends up giving you isn't very good either.

Just to add to this, you ever watch Game of Thrones or any war movie and wonder the motivation for the scrubs that go first in line? People LOVE that shit, they wanna recreate killing people as if they have talent and their subordination is such a great value. Anyway, send those people off, maybe the elite have something here tbh....

The shittier the family the more likely they will go as well. I hear it time and time again, once you are 18 get the fuck out. Hmmm, why would this be when a family is meant to stick together to help each other? We see it in movies, "don't go daddy it will just be mommy and me and then the (bad dude) will come rape us all while your at war bc your dictator has such a small dick he can't settle an argument without tricking good people to kill each other."
