Sorry for the late reply. Firstly "I was born this way" has never been insulting to gay people, but apparently it's "implicitly threatening to bisexuals". It makes bisexuls feel threatened, but not for the reasons you stated. You don't have to be the biggest fan of "born this way" argument for it to be a fact for homosexuals. Just because the gender-woo-ery hijacked the argument doesn't mean we have changed.

There is the real "messy" reason we're homosexuals and the "nice argument" reason you want us to give. You simply cannot fathom "born this way" on behalf of a sexual orrientation that is not yours. I, as some homosexuals don't fully understand bisexuals, but I don't tell them how they should explain bisexuality. Some people go as far as to claim bisexuality isn't a real thing just a heterosexual or homosexual person really confused. That statement might be offessive to bis because people who are not bi are speaking and making arguments on behalf of bisexuality. The argument most homosexuals use is "yes I was born this, so no I can't help, yes people have attempted to help it and yes they failed miserably in the end". Actual homosexuls don't do this for fashion, or to boast, and are in real pschological pain because they mostly try to help it and fail. Most homosexuals don't come from "progressive" countries and constantly prove the "I was born this way" argument. As someone already stated, "at the end of the day people need to butt out of others’ sexuality".

Wait I'm white, rich and conservative? Someone needs to tell my parents. Finally ready to drop out of university given I'm rich white and all. Wait until they realise despite their exploitative pandering to blm, we have worse opinions about them which would send them into a fit

Unless seeking attention is one of the factors that influenced thier transition. The latest "I'm not like the other ..." People are desperate for attention and validation.

Remember when Dan Savage tried to pimp out Lesbians. He needs to keep the word Lesbian out of his mouth, yet here is his latest (Advice for a lesbian-identifying woman attracted to her male coworker) by Happy_face_caller in Lesbians

Strange you should use the word pimp, just the other day I was contemplating how the LGBT+ movement and intersectional feminism currently feels justified to pimp out lesbians to benefit their gender ideology disregarding bodily autonomy of lesbians and free speech without demonization and harrassment
