For me the edited one shows up as the fourth result, and that's because it's part of a new article (which seems to have gotten enough clicks to boost it as a result). Maybe it's based somewhat on location and what results get the most attention in your area?

It's a straight man who identifies as a woman who calls himself "butch" because he dresses and acts masculine- an ordinary straight guy with extra labels. Though sometimes I've seen these dudes wear makeup and lipstick and still call themselves "butch" which I don't know is just as stupid or stupider.

Uhh... But what about the women in GC who literally are mentally ill? Like, I have anxiety and have had thoughts of suicide before, which is literally mental illness, and luckily I've got help with it. I have family members with bipolar and OCD, and have supported a friend with an eating disorder. I'm very much for people getting help and therapy for mental illness, which doesn't conflict with my gender critical viewpoint. The only thing I'm not for is people rushing into surgery/hormone treatments for gender dysphoria without getting proper therapy first, for the mental health of the patient. With most mental health problems you should at least try to address the underlying issues first. The reason some people detransition is because they realise that instead of getting therapy for self esteem issues, depression, etc, that they were convinced that transition would solve their problems. To not get proper therapy before transition is unethical.

And what do you mean by anti-intersex? Most of the time the only times intersex is mentioned in GC is people saying they're tired of intersex people being used as pawns for TRAs. The only stance GC really tends to have on intersex people is that they generally have some combination of male and female sex attributes, and therefore aren't a third sex, more of a combination. That is scientifically sound unless you'd like to show me the third gamete humans can have.

I do think sometimes even r/gc could get into its own sort of echo chamber, but I don't think it's cultlike as TRAs. I've never seen someone on GC say "Oh, don't look at [trans sub]! That's a form of self harm!" to discourage people from reading any kind of opposing view. I've haven't seen GC rewriting Stonewall history, but trans subs will actively remove interviews with Marsha P Johnson that contradict their narrative. There's a reason that there were more GC that QT in the now banned debate subreddit, because GC was generally able to actually provide sources instead of just parroting whatever they'd heard in their subreddit.

Each side has their flaws but I would highly recommend you spend more time lurking on the s/gendercritical subsaidit if you actually want to know what it's about.

Any TV show/series recommendations with lesbian characters? by [deleted] in Lesbians

I was almost ready to give up and not watch the Harley Quinn series when Ivy started getting together with Kite Man. He's just so incredibly lame, but I was holding out hope that maybe they'd pursue a Harley/Ivy relationship later. And sure enough...! Well, hopefully there's another season coming.

It unfortunately doesn't usually make sense when trying to conserve space, but I wish most change rooms and washrooms were all single stall. Not only would it make the whole gender washroom debate irrelevant, but you wouldn't have to listen to other people shitting. Best of both worlds.

Now that I've had to move away from Reddit for my daily dose of LGB exclusive content, it's like watching a ship sink from afar. The more subreddits they try and sink, the more survivors will join us on land.

So to the TRAs, I say go for it. Try and get every gay subreddit cancelled until the rest of LGB Redditors realise there's no place left for them in subs like r/actuallesbians that've been taken over. They'll turn to us, and leave the lgbtqiaxyzz32d7h28hmhw+ echo chamber.

It's so funny to me that Reddit is claiming TERFs were brigading different women's subs (like r/PCOS and r/pregnancy) like there weren't radfems in those subs to begin with by Irascible-harpy in GenderCritical

It's really strange how they seem to think of being gay or lesbian as a political statement, or a façade. Like, just because that's all it is to you doesn't mean that's what it means to everyone.

And even if they genuinely believed it was incorrect for any sane homo/bisexual to support LGBdroptheT, that doesn't mean we're suddenly not L,G or B. Like if an illegal immigrant supports deportations, that doesn't mean they're suddenly not an immigrant, it just means they have weird beliefs.

Honestly such a strange argument.

I don't think that tool exactly shows what percentage of the users are subscribed to the other subs, as the site says:

The scores listed are "probability multipliers", so a score of 2 means that users of the inputted subreddit are twice as likely to post and comment on that score=2 subreddit.

I'm terrible with numbers but I believe that means that the users posting in r AL are 50x more likely to also be posting in MtF than the average user. Which seems... Pretty fucking bad still.

I have a boring old Reddit account where I browse things that have nothing to do with LGB topics, so I'll probably keep that to participate in some of the more niche subreddits I'm a part of. But as far as browsing any lesbian related, I'm done. Other account, deleted. There's just no place for discourse without being overloaded with TiMs and miscellaneous ""queer"" women.

I've been called any variation of sir/young man/that guy more times than I can count. I'm tall and dress in a masculine way. I'm honestly more surprised when people realize I'm female than when they think I'm male.

Unfortunately, I'm still awaiting death, since misgendering literally kills people. Just not me yet, apparently.
