MtF transition is beneficial by vintologi3 in GenderCritical

The first study used the general population as comparason group, not individuals who didn't transition.

The second study did show long-term outcomes to be better than short term.

The dsm-5 criteria is indeed problematic but that's true for all mental disorders, nothing there is based on any good evidence.

The main camps are

Transmed: it's about treating gender dysphoria

tucute: it's about gender identity

This hasn't changed.

Your first link doesn't cite a single study backing up the notion that the symptoms would be different between the sexes.

Identification of the biological mechanisms, including the hormones and genes

Meaning it's possible that trans females would react more like cis females than cis males (if on HRT).

Obviously you be in favor of medical transition and still be critical of gender roles.

The issue is the "girl trapped in male body" explanations for why people transition, that might fit some people but far from everyone.

he never showed any "feminine" behaviour

You do not have to fit into the "female trapped in a male body" stereotype to benefit from transitioning.

Estrogen is cheap so i wouldn't worry too much about that, there are however some questionable trans surgeries/surgeries.
