The big problem is that Title 9 keeps getting messed with. No one has changed the law but Obama, Trump, and Biden have kept putting out policies which say they will "interpret" Title 9 differently so schools freak out that they could be in violation of Title 9. The craziest part is that each interpretation is POLAR OPPOSITE of the other. The law was literally written to give protection based on "sex" and it says so in the law very clearly. No one ever had any confusion on what the law said until Obama came along and said they were going to interpret the law to mean the exact opposite of what it says. At this point we really need the supreme court to come in and say "you can't interpret the law to mean the exact opposite of what it says."

The traditional concept is that diversity of opinions and ideas is what creates better problem solving. I'm not sure if this study actually looks at that part... But it's noteworthy that polite society has substituted in diversity of identity as the moral good to claim why companies need things like DEI. At the most charitable the argument is made that diverse identities bring in diverse ideas because the people all have different lives up until the point that they are hired for a project. In reality what tends to happen is the DEI type programs explicitly exclude diversity of opinions and ideas. They want to hire people with obscure racial, ethnic, sexual, or gender backgrounds but if you are a super "diverse" person applying for a job with a government agency & they check your social media history to find you've made some incredibly tame comments about thinking the US government should stop overthrowing every government on earth which tries to nationalize their natural resources... Then you are not getting that job. Same goes for any corporation like Google who will end up putting out an AI which refuses to show images of white people and actually creates black Nazis which is far more offensive than just showing the actual historically accurate information. Anyone who would have had diversity of opinions or ideas and who could have spotted the problem ahead of time was preselected as unhirable.

Basically I'm wondering if all of this diversity they are studying is overlooking the actual diversity which might change the data.

Well that's a good point and it's similar to what liberals do with leftist language in general. like people like Pelosi or Clinton legitimately believe they are "on the left" because they talk about invading and occupying Afghanistan in the context of putting girls in school.

At the same time you get people enforcing a gender hierarchy like "that girl is a boy because she likes to fix cars." While calling that leftist or using Marxist language as you say. No that shit is extremely hierarchical and therefore right wing.

It doesn't help that they all constantly self identify as leftist Marxist etc so everyone who sees this just points at them and says "see the left is like this."

For some reason i don't see this inverted self labelling happen on the right except recently in the context of populism. Populists are now claiming to be "right wing" and are being labeled as such by the media but populism is by definition left wing. It also happens a bit with libertarians who sort of horse shoe around to almost advocating for communism but with property rights.

That's explicitly true. The whole gender bullshit aligns perfectly with liberalism and a right wing framework of gender. I generally attribute it to these people being bat shit crazy and that nothing they say regarding gender makes sense anyway. I've had a rollercoaster of opinions on the word "queer". Yes it used to be exclusively a slur but over time it became less of an issue and I started to like the word as an all encompassing term instead of saying "LGBT" it seemed easier to say queer. Unfortunately then you had all these self insert "quirky" straight people pop in and start using it as a new identity because they wanted to identify into an oppressed community. So then they all started saying "LGBTQ" which defeated the purpose of using queer as a general term. It's because those people were not gay or bi or even trans. They were basically girls who wanted to wear pants and dye their hair blue while pretending to be oppressed so they shoehorned in the Q onto the end of the acronym. The word was already a slur but gaining some use as a decent 1 syllable word to replace the acronym. Then it got colonized by some disgusting people who also manipulated the acronym to include queer. You could no longer logically use queer to replace the acronym which also contains the same word. Slur + no logic + worst people = stop using it.
