What is the logic of this? lol

You know that, I know that. But, it was this logic among these people. Realistically, as you stated, if that was the case, it would be "causing" the opposite.

The only thing I can think of, is that they're trying to compare and use those pedo studies ("sexual abuse causes pedophilia"), but even that, still wouldn't make sense. Plus, severely fucked up.

I agree with this, and it is becoming an issue. Especially with the whole "(LGB)T are pedophiles" thing because of the whole drag story time, etc... Which being found out that supposedly some of the storytellers are offenders.

Acceptance rates seem to slowly be going down. Fortunately, I have seen some people differentiate between LGB and TQ+ when it comes to all this nonsense but still...

Despite not being 100% genetical, how much would it realistically be then? Too bad there aren’t many studies on it. But, considering why with homophobia, it would make sense. At least from the arguments I’ve read on against studying.

Two studies I can think of (and mostly brought up) are the twins, and brain differences.

Maybe I’m reading your comment wrong, but most of the studies were more focused on LG (which is why I wrote homophobia). The sexual abuse by same-sex would supposedly “cause” same sex attraction. Completely. Which was also what these types of people were always preaching in what “caused” homosexuality.

It wasn’t sexual abuse by the opposite sex. It was same sex abuse which would “cause” the same-sex attraction. These were the types of studies I kept seeing from these types of people who used it to preach that homophobia or how homosexuality “starts.”

True, I can agree with that. It’s just those studies, and when I encounter these people, they always bring them up.

"Gender euphoria" ew 🤮

Kai advising her to make a space within the culture feels like it's just going to end as a 2.0 version of that one story. The one with the chick who went to gay orgy, and none of the men wanted anything to do with her. Of course, unless she tries to beat them into gross conversion/submission.

That's another thing I noticed too. But, more of others referring to feminine men as a such, regardless of sexual orientation. While barely doing the same with calling women butch or stud.

they find these gay communities on Reddit who give them all kinds of praise and up votes for posting thirst pics.

True. Seems to also the "quirky" people too, wanting to be included. With some LGB just going with it.

True. Although, from what I've seen: most AAVE used today isn't really person specific, if the makes sense. You'll see people saying stuff like "bussing," but wouldn't dare call themselves brothers/sistas. Very black associated terms.

Kinda funny, because if someone non-black were to do that, others would've been calling them out like no tomorrow. The same people to turn around, and make justifications on why straight relationships can have "tops/bottoms".

I tried to explain that a straight woman can't be a top, but she wasn't having any of that.

Oh man, I had to deal with those types too. It's so interesting how they get offended when you tell them the origins behind the words, and how it doesn't include them. I had one guy try to use stone butch lesbians as a justification on why hetero relationships can have tops/bottoms...

I've seen the other terms being used too. Although, I can see some "reasoning" on why it can be used (tiny attempt of trying to see their logic). Like "spilling the tea" since it doesn't really specify people like tops/bottoms, or butch and femme. But, when they misuse it, and completely disort the meaning, it's an issue.

Not intended seems like a "cultural appropriation" argument ... Culture should be shared.

Sure, culture can be shared. But, I'm a woman. Which is why I wrote it wasn't intended for me. As it seems odd to describe myself/other women as "tops" when we don't have the package for it. I guess it could "work" for fellow lesians and FEB into toys.

Which is kinda funny, because I had an straight person try to use that as a justification on why hetero sex can have tops/bottoms (the existence of stone butch lesbians).

Same. Without trying to be disregarding, it feels like he's trying too hard? I don't know how to put it into words, but he sounds like he's the type of LGB who really wants acceptance from straight people imo. Idk why, I just get that feeling. So, when other gay men aren't putting up with that, rather go their own way, it knocks him out that mindset for a sec.

Where does he talk about his friends' feelings? I know he said he feel bad for them, but maybe I keep skipping it.
