Worms are not racist. They can infect anyone. When I was growing up in New Hampshire, USA, a white friend of mine said he got worms. I asked him how.... He said most likely from eating cold meat, like hot dogs, or deli slices of sandwich meat. Many people have parasites in them and do not even know it. When's the last time you got cleaned out?

These are Nigerians where a lack of proper sanitation makes them more susceptible.

I took dewormer when my last pair of cats had persistent worms. I don't know if it was hypochonria or not, but worms crawling out of their butts freaked me the f out. The tests were always negative for parasites but I also recently found out the doctor wasn't using the proper protocol for testing.

LOL, I have actually seen the same with a couple of our indoor cats. I understand it's not a pleasant sight. These are cats that don't go outside, which makes me wonder if the pet food manufacturers are to blame for introducing parasites through their food.

Those cats of mine were indoor cats too. I had no idea how they got them, the food is a possibility.

You showed a video months ago that indicates you tolerate rat infestations. Perhaps tabby got a hold of a few mice and rats in your house.

The rat in my workshop has been gone for months. My cats stay inside the house and never go out there. However, I did see a neighborhood cat around the workshop at about the same time the rat disappeared.
