What is Hamas? If it is an ideology or military organization, then no, we are not expected to love a set of rules that go against the love for our fellow man. The soldiers themselves, of any military group, we should love. Consider Jesus, who himself was nailed to a cross by Roman soldiers. Jesus was innocent and had committed no crime. His public execution could be considered an act of terrorism. Yet Jesus prayed, "Father, forgive them. For they know not what they do." We should do the same and let God be Judge and Avenger. The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.
