In my brief stint working as a prep cook, I discovered just how shitty and boring it is. All of the young waitresses also were so overly friendly with big fake smiles, it seriously creeped me out. I now feel kind of bad when I get restaurant food.

If anyone reading is ever in Philadelphia, the omikase at Morimoto is probably the most memorable dining experience I've had. They were more than happy to bring my boyfriend and I separate plates so we could each experience everything.

It was more than just sushi, it's a like a seven course meal. It was amazing.

I DONT LIKE WORKING AT RESTAURANTS LIKE JACK IN THE BOX BECAUSE WAITRESSES MAKE ME PUT MY FINGER IN THEIR PEE HOLE.

Figured it was only a matter of time before they scale down the portions and keep the prices the same. I remember in the 90's there seemed to be a trend at restaurants to have these enormous plates. Portions were also large. It seemed they leaned in to the anti-French stereotype of them having small portions. So, the US went in to the large portions of cheap, high calorie food.
