How to circumvent YouTube's adblocker detection (in 2 easy steps)

  1. Right click on thumbnail of the video you want to watch.

  2. Select ''Open window in incognito window''.

Seems to work for the moment.

For now, there are ad-free alternative YouTube clients: FreeTube for desktop, GrayJay or NewPipe for Android.

Not sure they'll last for long as Google wages war on adblockers, though :(

I haven't had any issues with YT using Brave's ad blocker.

I have and use Brave on my main PC but it's in need of some maintenance so I'm using Chromium on my Raspberry Pi. I might try Brave but stupid me already signed up for a premium YT membership...

Use brave browser...works best so far
