This means that over 95% of all males are competing for the opportunity to bed the remaining 33% of females
I'm pretty sure they aren't exactly competing, they're just like... trying to be happy without relying on women. There's no way that all of the 95% of males would settle for a fatty or a troon.
It explains why there's a lot of male suicides but it also explains why there's less marriages. In the end, men will overcome this but women will be left behind.
