Perhaps, but perhaps they (meaning whoever funded this guy) are just playing a different game. Perhaps they just want to discredit climate activists. Imagine that millions of average people were to block streets forever, because they wanted to protest.

A cheap way to make sure that doesn't happen is to produce a virtual endless amount of people acting like idiots to put stigma on protests, which could certainly exist, because I sure feel like almost everyone protesting against anything is an idiot.

The story behind the story is the interesting part about such things, but you never get to verify that.
