More likely rich people think money can solve all their problems, until it can't.

Exactly.

Wonder how much life insurance paid out OR also how much of their assets that they couldn't liquidate without penalty is now more easily liquidated by their "survivors".

Seems like what the elite has prob been doing for awhile.

weren’t there a bunch of really rich movers and shakers on the titanic? the sinking of it literally changed the trajectory of history.

speaking of history, does it actually repeat or is that just a myth?

Maybe some other group of billionaires will try that next time.

But this recent event has been confirmed an implosion resulting in real actual deaths of all submarine occupants.

But what if they beamed off the submarine right before it imploded?

Confirmed by what? The scattered remains of a submarine built from home depot parts?

It would be effortless to build an escape hatch in the submarine, so the occupants can get in , then sneak out and into a hidden conpartnent on the ship, and then they send down the sub and "woops, it went squash" . Get back on land and unload the "dead" passengers .

There was no audio nor video feed to the sub, apparently the owner deliberatelly chose to remove the audiolink because it was "distracting" to the experience, they only had a text messaging system , which anyone can operate and pretrnd to be inside the sub

Oh, I like this one. If you wanted to make it more believable you would probably want to showcase that the whole operation is heading for disaster before the 'accident' like, I don't know, using a gaming joystick to control the submarine.
