"If you love the Lord there are things you must hate"....Now I'm no biblical scholar, but that does not sound like something Jesus would say...perhaps you can refer me to an appropriate passage

There is one I think it's in Deuteronomy it says that if you've had your testicles crushed or had your penis cut off you will not enter into the kingdom of the Lord so keep that in mind

If its in Deuteronomy, then Jesus does not say that, thats Old Testament. Jesus says all that Old Testament stuff is null and void under the new covenant, and Jesus does not teach hatred of sinners, he practices love of sinners.
