No, this has more to do with ideology, culture and personality than IQ. Japan has the highest average IQ's and they are extremely collectivist compared to westerners

Collectivism seems to be correlated with not questioning authority.

IQ denotes standardized puzzle 🧩 solving ability. it has absolutely nothing to do with functional intellect.

I think the IQ spectrum has its limitations in both classes in both directions.

There is certainly a strong correlation, but the root of collectivist thought is stupidity, which cannot be measured with an IQ test.
