They are just weather ballons that usually come back to earth after a few hundred miles. There had to be freak conditions to carry them so far. This whole spy balloon bullshit is just American Govt. Nonsense. If they really believed they were spy devices they would have tried to captured them.

The one that was shot down was in <50 feet of water and they're gonna recover it. I won't be surprised if we never hear what it was, if it was anything but a weather baloon.
