Somebody put this idea into your head, that your parents are only "authority figures" and that you are better off to not listen to them and that you should not respect and obey them.

If you hate all religious people, then you hate Jews. The more you try to spin that as tolerance and enlightenment, the more you reveal it for the bigotry it is.
