It baffles me how people treat Twitter like it's literally someone getting their head kicked in in real life. This is people typing things into the internet and everyone freaks out like it's a murder. I don't get it.

A generation of people raised on sensationalism. Weather reports of 'deadly' cold. Imminent threat of war looming. Killer virus spreading. Fatal fast food. Apocalyptic climate change. It's all extreme language that .any have become accustomed to in order to pass a lie or manipulate an audience into a negative emotional response. As this to the hyper polarisation of party politics and current events, you end up with a group who are willing to exaggerate literally anything to feel valid and conforming.
