There's a lot of reasons why China may "win". China uses a large chunk of its money to develop domestically. A lot of US tax payer dollars go towards the military industrial complex, 1%, propaganda operations and towards foreign policy. US have their money spread across numerous countries, Ukraine is only one of them.

In terms of why China may lose is that the US plays dirty. They've already enacted sanctions and bombed key parts of China's Belt and Road Initiative to slow down their growth. They may incite a regional or world war in order to prevent China's rise.

China is also willing to play dirty. They will not put up with America's shit for long. Russia and China will work together in a war against America. India might stay neutral, but if the Indians notice the truth about global politics they will swallow their pride and side with China and Russia. That’s over a third of the world's population vs America and its lapdogs. And America has plenty of internal problems that could bring about its own collapse.
