One can write about those who abuse the scientific process, which happens all the time. platonic1 is saying that science is the problem, whereas those who are skewing the data are the problem. And to deal faulty scientific resaerch, only additional scientific research can solve those problems (not the opinions of platonic1). For example, JAMA and other medical journals require the publication of retractions, of which there are many.
