This is disgusting. Man or woman, encouraging kids to give money to a half naked adult is sick.

This is how the left sold the reaction to the event.

https://twitter.com/EFJBGC/status/1533217028731027456

Notice no pics of what went on inside.

If they think it's all fine why not promote the event itself rather than just the reaction?

Because they know its wrong.

"It's becoming painfully obvious that groomer teachers in Groomer Schools very frequently are using their students to fill in a vulnerable narcissistic black hole no one else in their lives will fill. They're teachers to have access to accessories to their mental illnesses." ~ James Lindsay

They should have body cams on teachers like they do on the police.

They said they wouldn't try to turn the kids gay. Pretty apparent lgbt shouldn't be around kids at this point, and that means rolling back special protection status so they can be fired from positions around children.

And obviously not everyone is the problem, so this is kinda shitty either way. It's like putting down a beloved pet.

I believe you're a bi dude, curious if you think your rights are more important than the good of our young.

I don't think you need to fire lgb teachers or whatever. It's really very simple: don't groom. If you can follow that simple rule, you should be able to keep your job. It's not that hard.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

Jobs with kids are like positions of power, the only people who want to do them are suss.

You seem like a decent fellow though, would this actually impact you or your husband if lgbt people were no longer allowed around children?

[–]IridescentAnaconda 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

No, neither of us works with kids. Husband works with young (college-aged) adults. Neither of us is interested in working with children.

Here's the thing though: if you suspect gays in general who want to work with kids because of the grooming issue, might it be reasonable to suspect men in general (heterosexuals included) who want to work with kids? I kinda don't think so. At the same time I don't personally understand why men would want to deal with other people's small children.

One sets a dangerous precedent by establishing ambiguous conditions on character for employment. As a manager I am trained to focus on behaviors, not personality characteristics. In documenting performance (whether good or bad) I am trained to use verbs, not adjectives: i.e. what actually happened, not my value judgment that emerged from what happened. I think the same thing applies here. Grooming behavior should be grounds for automatic dismissal. Whatever personality characteristics that may or may not explain the grooming behavior are incidental.

You have a good point, it isn't really a gay thing now that I think about it. I don't think men should work around children at all. I mean, I don't think males get hired as baby sitters do they?

I have low-level suspicion of men who are driven to be around children but I also don't know everything about others' motivations. What about men who coach kids on sports teams? That seems benign (although obviously we've seen abuses).

The other thing I forgot to add: the problem isn't that we need more restrictions on who can and can't be around children. We need to enforce the rules we already have. Like there have to be clear rules against putting kids in sexual situations like drag shows with neon signs saying "lick me" or whatever. Why aren't they being enforced?

Same.

What about men who coach kids on sports teams?

My childhood friend alleged molestation by the elementary school gym coach. My scout group was disbanded due to molestation allegations. My experience has been dudes who want to be around kids are often suspect, although I did have one fantastic gym teacher/ history teacher. It's never everyone, just the job attracts people who want to be around kids for bad intent.

like drag shows with neon signs saying "lick me" or whatever.

I don't think kids should be at drag shows, but that one, the sign was already in the gay bar. And kids' movies often have inappropriate humor that's meant to go over their heads to entertain the adults forced to watch that drivel.

I thought that one argument was kind of stupid, but ya know, means to an end I guess.

Kids shouldn't be in gay bars period.

I knew a guy who took his college students on a trip to a gay bar "for educational purposes". I thought at the time that even that was sus (and yes this particular individual is every bit as degenerate as you would expect).

Regarding molesting gym coaches and scoutmasters. If schools and organizations would only enforce clear rules and take reasonable precautions (e.g. highly discouraging adults to be alone with children without another adult present) then we wouldn't even need to be having this conversation. But abusers can be charismatic and provoke the oh he's a good Christian he'd never do anything bad response. Honestly it's the same problem as so many other bad things that happen in the world, the lack of discernment typically expressed by NPCs.

The big fish eats the little ones.

Looking at people as NPCs is a slippery slope. Look at them as sheep and be their shepherd.

[–]IridescentAnaconda 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

That's a good song.

I don't think shepherding is possible. There was a time in my life when I thought so but I see very little evidence that people can be changed. Either you value Truth or you don't. Painful lesson taught by family members and people I once counted as close friends. The last 2 years have been brutal that way.

But I do admire your optimism!

Except that literally all the people who were nazis are dead and you're looking across the entire planet at a whole nother culture

Also nazis were bad which I know because there are historical records of the things they did, which were bad . . . and I'm not a total jackass and get my information and analysis from /pol

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

you're looking across the entire planet at a whole nother culture

Weimar Germany and America 2022 are, together, the apotheosis of Jewish cultural dominance.

"Also nazis were bad which I know because there are historical records of the things they did, which were bad . . . "

You may be only one man but it seems like you didn't even bother to think before you typed that out.

Would you like to share one of those historical records with me?

I don't even know what "/pol" is but I'm interested now. Got a link?

I...consider(ed?) myself fairly liberal but I have absolutely no idea how this is seen as acceptable. What state does your mind have to be in to then post it to social media? I continue to be baffled. The coming backlash is going to be a hard swing to the right, history repeats itself and at this point I can't even be all that upset about it.

[–]RedEyedWarrior 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's not a woman, that's a man. Do the women that brought their children to this disgusting event actually think that these cross dressers are women?

Anyway, Texas is doomed.

EDIT: I should add that I feel sick to my stomach that so many gay people are defending this shit. There is nothing to defend. The owners of that bar and the dancers should be in jail. As should the mothers who brought their children to that event. If the pendulum swings back and there is a backlash over this, I will not be surprised.
