the lack of discernment typically expressed by NPCs.

The big fish eats the little ones.

Looking at people as NPCs is a slippery slope. Look at them as sheep and be their shepherd.

That's a good song.

I don't think shepherding is possible. There was a time in my life when I thought so but I see very little evidence that people can be changed. Either you value Truth or you don't. Painful lesson taught by family members and people I once counted as close friends. The last 2 years have been brutal that way.

But I do admire your optimism!

The odds were against me finding a smart gay. I was beginning to think it didn't exist. So, something triggered you to go from normal to dna suicide. At a genetic level. Do you know what that was?

Triggered? Just from a young age I never found women sexually interesting. It didn't seem like a good choice to try to fake it and make 2 people miserable just to procreate (the products of which would likely be miserable because their parents are miserable). Not everybody gets to reproduce, even if they're heterosexual. I mean, yes, all other things being equal I would have liked to have children, but it wasn't in the cards and I accept it.

I'll grant that in other societies, homosexuals get married (in the traditional sense) and procreate. But those societies are set up in a way that doesn't inflate sexual fulfillment to prime directive the way modern Western culture does. It's a disaster to try to do that here.

Anyway, most of my DNA is being replicated by other people who seem to be doing it with authentic inspiration. The specific bits that aren't being replicated are probably better off not being.

Thanks for the compliment, BTW.

Triggered

I think being gay is environmental. In response to something before puberty, often trauma but not always, something gets activated genetically. I mean, we're even built with a biological way to detect homosexuality, the so called "gaydar." I don't know if you've ever thought about it, but it doesn't work on kids. You can't tell people are gay till a certain point, then it can be seen at a glance. That doesn't fit gay from birth.

Normally I don't think that matters a whole hill of beans, the "why" is interesting, but now we have a new case we've never experienced before, 40% of gen z identifying as queer. I think mostly we all assume it's just young impressionable people going along with a fad.

I think there's a chance it's not a fad. That we inadvertently triggered a gay gene expression in almost half the kids of an entire generation.

I don't know about that. You hear reports of gender non-conforming kids even being recognized as such by their parents and other adults in their lives, and I think there may be studies that show that they often turn out to be gay adults. I was kind of a faggotty kid but in between puberty and adulthood I realized that life would be easier if I manned up. Some people think I've done violence to my inner psyche by making those changes but fuck them.

Gaydar in adults is more about recognizing the uncanny valley effect of gender nonconforming behavior (even subtle facial cues) in an adult - at least that is what is going on with heterosexuals whose gaydar goes off. Heterosexual gaydar can miss other cases that homosexuals are able to detect, and those are about the subtle cues that involve displays of sexual interest. I have a career military friend who is undetectable by the first set of cues but likely detectable via the latter set.

Regarding gen z: it's mostly cluster B disorders manifesting themselves as "queer" identity. I have no doubt cluster B is on the rise because those disorders are all about disruption of attachment systems in early childhood development. This is why I hate this woke bullshit so much: it is interfering with healthy childhood development and it's going to create generations of narcissistic and/or borderline-personality-disordered people.

Same here. Try explaining Aspergers, Autism AND Schizophrenia as "illnesses" to sme.

I feel you. People are idiots. Schopenhauer knew it clearly and wrote it down concise in about 300 pages, how so many people can be idiots.
