No one, no one knows if they are going to heaven based on a following just a few things. And even then, no one knows for sure. We can not judge ourselves the way God does. There are many people in history who have believed they have done the right thing for God, when they haven't. In older times when people couldn't read they often did things that displeased God because that is what the church told them. God would probably forgive these people, but who are we to pretend to know what God is doing?

Always think about if what you are doing is pleasing to God, as you do it. Best thing you can do.
