CNN is full of shit as always. It doesn’t hurt gay people to give parents veto power over what their children are learning at school or from the media. In fact, there are a lot of gay people who feel that the law in Florida does not go far enough, myself included. The law is a step in the right direction, but if it were up to me, it would be illegal to talk about sex or transgenderism in all stages of primary school. As for secondary schools, parental councils should set the curriculum for sex education, not governments.
