I think the solution will be a combination of man-made recycling efforts (water is mostly naturally recycled now.....we drink water molecules the dinosaurs peed out, lol), de-desalinization plants, and piping clean water from the coastal regions inland. It has to get bad enough for people to make enough money to make it happen.

Speaking of the plastics in the oceans, there is progress on using specific bacteria that feed on and break the plastics down.

sadly, you are mistaken. for the previous hundred years(approx), we have been putting toxic chemicals into our water supplies which will permanently poison our water.

we pour toxic chemicals down our toilets. some pour motor oil into them. oven cleaners. etc. from each and every home in the world.

go ahead and pour some toilet bowl cleaner containing acids into a glass of water and then show me how you remove those chemicals from that glass of water.

the environment is past the point of no return, and it is my theory that this is why we are locked down.. because the governments have become aware that unless we eliminate the majority of this world's masses, then we will all die.

We can solve anything we put our efforts towards. How that happens is another story.
