i'm pretty sure the firmament is there.

and the 'milky way' was when we 'split' the dome .. and the flood came down .. we did it .. i read 'the lost continent of mu' also about atlantis .. seems there are in fact records of a greedy, selfish, advanced race that killed itself off. the remnants became aztecs/incas and egyptians (explains sudden appearance of advanced civi then its decline.. it was in fact the survivors that setup the advanced civis .. but where unable to pass on the knowledge or so the story goes) .. the old texts come from india speak of these things.
