There are a lot of mentally ill people on here that use the website as free therapy, and constantly spam their cope hoping for comfort and validation. It's easier to boil the world down to a 5 minute rant, "X happens because of those damned Y!" , instead of having to deal with the fact that everything matters, many things are connected (not just a singular people or bad actor), clear cause and effects are rarities, and true revelations take hard work, research, and honest reflection, not a sourceless 4chan green text or some youtube rant.

The trouble is some people going through their personal demons online can radicalise others who take it at face value. You have to take responsibility for the fact that if you tell the whole internet that a particular group of people are trying to kill them then a few individuals will decide they need to defend themselves violently. Just like Anders Breivik had an internet bubble of a couple of hundred people telling him his views were correct and cheering on his talk of violence before he shot a load of kids then afterwards they were all "We didn't mean it like that ..."

We're all on numerous lists for being the many virtual places we visit online. It's not "whether" anybody is on a list, it's HOW HIGH we each are.
