You know that bothers me about this?blet's say Trump does.... Snowden made a lot of enemies here in the US..... Who is to say that one of them with help him commit suicide?

I'm just not convinced that he wouldn't get killed even if he was pardoned.

Snowden is a celeb for life now. If he needs security he'll get it or it will be arranged. He's part of the their game and will be protected. Further he's non-partisan so that makes him even safer from the typical extremist nut jobs.

If Snowden was a legit threat the CIA would have offed him in Russia. If everyone can "find" him to do TV interviews, since the CIA control the TV I'm sure they could find and dispose of him. The NSA, his "former" work place, sniffs up all the world's traffic anyways. If they could find Ross Ulbricht there's no way Snowden could remain free without permission.

Ross used an alias linked to his real name to advertise Silk Road.

Ulbricht, agents say, had by then made a number of mistakes that allowed them to tie him to Silk Road, including using the name "altoid" to post messages advertising Silk Road to a forum and then using that same name to post to a Bitcoin forum seeking workers for a Bitcoin startup. In the latter message, "altoid" told would-be job applicants to contact him at rossulbricht@gmail.com

That story sounds plausible - or it may be a parallel construction.

The point is no one, not Edward, Ross, nor even Ghislaine, can remain hidden - and if they wanted him dead, Snowden would have been dead in 2013.

Just pointing out he was very sloppy in the beginning - which would make him quite easy to find if you were actually trying to find him.

Not really disagreeing that they probably could off Snowden if they really really wanted to. The cons probably outweighed the pros / nobody powerful enough cared enough about him.

Indeed. Ross didn't even really do anything but found an authentic free-market. And it's well known the alias was shared. Maybe they were selling drugs from the start, maybe not, so maybe he wasn't even guilty of whatever drug charges they had (I haven't looked into that) - but I'm certain they wouldn't even let him properly defend himself. The trial was a joke and is meant to scare everyone who wants freedom alternatives.

If John Oliver and his team can find Snowden the CIA certainly could. If they are willing to obviously kill Epstein, as well as so many other journalists and political figures, they'll kill anyone they want. To be honest, I'm surprised at their restraint.
