There's nothing unprincipled about helping the Ukrainian underdog. If you're even doubting that fundamental part of americana then it's not "calling out" to harangue a congressional representative, it's monstrous.

Nobody has to justify or publicly address why they would support Ukrainian underdogs against a fascist horde of rapist orcs. The people who ask for justification are just revealing a big hole in their moral worldview.

It's like forcing a politician to explain why cannibalism is illegal or why they voted to criminalize you fucking your sister.

This is completely idiotic framing that has led the US public to support so many disastrous conflicts (pretty much all of them). Appealing to good vs evil thinking is such a super-hero trope that I cannot believe adults still cling to this worldview. Fascist horde of rapist orcs? Give me a break.
