You spend a lot of time hating your fellow man

How about some arguments against Antifastan? Instead of personal attacks against me. Pyramid of Debate.

I love how you whip out "pyramid of debate" anytime anyone questions you on anything, like it's some cloak you can wear to protect yourself so you don't have to be responsible for your own actions.

How about you learn to love and build things, instead of hate and destroy things? Why are you doing the divide-and-conquer messaging work for those who wish to control us? Are you doing this accidentally or are you doing it purposefully? Can you not find anything positive in your life, that you must spend every hour making "the enemy" portrayed in the worst way? Do you have nothing to build, nothing to grow? You just want to back up authoritarians and defame anyone who makes a stand? That's what your post history shows about your behavior. Sad.

He has a point....

You made the rules yourself, I expected you to set the example.

"An idealist is one who, on noticing that roses smell better than a cabbage, concludes that it will also make better soup." - H. L. Mencken

His criticism is valid, and CHAZ would be an interesting social experiment if there weren't so many similar ones before. I guess each generation has to learn from their own mistakes.

His criticism isn't valid, because he's trying to use it as a defense so he doesn't have to explain himself. He doesn't actually care about the pyramid of debate, he's just using it to shut down criticism, and his behavior and post history shows that.

Defense of what? You made no point, just a jab at his character. Which, last time I checked, wasn't bringing the pyramid of debate up.

[–]magnora7 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

It's not a "jab", it's a pointing out of a long-term pattern of behavior that is definitely dragging down discussion on the pyramid of debate. Noticing this stuff is kind of my whole job...

I'm merely pointing it out. Why are you blaming at me for pointing it out, instead of him for doing it?

It's: "You spend a lot of time hating your fellow man" , that's a character, not addressing the point he made.

Because this seems to be turning in to reddit, with the people in charge, namely YOU, using their own little definition of what things are and uneven application of the rules.

I apply the rules pretty evenly, definitely far more evenly than reddit admins or voat admins... not sure why you're saying "uneven"

When people launch personal attacks, you bet your ass I point them to the pyramid of debate. An insult isn't an argument.

If they had actual arguments, they would use them. But they don't, and my point made them feel bad. So they have to reply...somehow. The personal attack is just the ticket.

[–]magnora7 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

If they had actual arguments, they would use them.

People do have actual arguments. But instead of addressing them you go "This is a personal attack, you're dragging discussion down the pyramid of debate" which itself drags discussion down the pyramid of debate because you're refusing to address any points people bring up. Why is actually answering the questions posed to you so difficult for you?

How is anyone supposed to address an "argument" like that? It's not an argument, it's an insult.

[–]FormosaOolong 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

It's n observation. Followed by suggestions.

Well there is a lot of divisiveness in your posts, which is of course your choice. Imo though that perpetuates the problem of keeping us in a state of divisiveness rather than uniting around our common interests, which are many. We all need to be able to pay affordable rent, buy healthy food, breathe clean air, drink clean water, go to the doctor without being bankrupted, etc, and that is true no matter what degree of melanin is in your skin, what class you are in, what gender you are. If ever there was a time to focus on our common interests, rather than our perceived differences, it is now.

Common interests? Like uniting behind a violent misogynist who fathered children and then dumped them?

I also hate the women and the children, too.
