Just FYI there are several stripped-down versions of windows one is called tiny11, and mine has none of this Microsoft Edge nonsense in it

At this point, I am wondering how many different settings scattered all around opt me into sending Microsoft my browsing history.

At least I would be wondering that if I wasn't using Linux.

the latest Canary build of Microsoft Edge

I use Edge, but don't have that version. This article probably only applies to a small percentage of current Edge users.

if you're on linux and have to have MS Edge installed, use firejail or a comparable product to limit what it can access.
