oakland is a shithole.

do they like living in an overpriced shithole that is infested with dope fiends and violent gangsters?

that depends entirely on what part of Oakland you are in, most of it is not nearly as bad as you think

I spent three years around Oakland to Richmond to the tenderloin.

If there is a nice area, I didn't see it.

I was told by a friend that the gangs in that area killed the valedictorian, just because he was the top student in his class.

Another of my friends, a youngster that went to school in Oakland, he told me that only thirty kids graduated that year.. he told me it was common to see teachers with black eyes.

The bottom line is that the entire bay area is infested with homeless and addicts and gangsters and murder.. you are rolling the dice with your life just driving down the street.

The people with money live in the Oakland hills, those are the nice parts of Oakland. Look up the Shepherd Canyon or Montclair neighborhood

Yeah, bla bla.. the reality is that the gangs and the violence will eventually catch up to you.
