tl;dr: A guy quit Microsoft and made technology that makes people think it's cool to be tracked as they go around the airport since they get to see custom information on screens.

With all due respect, I agree with you.

But that is cool as fuck.

They could literally have signs that navigate you around an airport. Hello Mr. Brimshae. You are early to the air port, we see you frequent Starbucks and steak restaurants. Are you hungry or thirsty? Head this way for a coffee and steak and cheese.

And then it directs you to the gate your suppose to be at. But the boards do this for everyone.
