One of many reasons I want to program my own apps, make my own items, tools and alike. Also the reasons I enjoy Soviet tech, cars, tools and even kitchen equipment, shit lasts forever. Yes it may not be ecological, but I would say it is far more ecological to use the same car for 50+ years rather than buy a new one every 10 or so years just because manufacturers said so.

No....predatory capitalism. There are many forms of capitalism. This is the form that leads to unrest, and eventually opens the door to commie-socialist BS!
