i always put black electrical tape over the cameras on my android cellphone.. but, do you know what i suspect? couldnt there also be a camera embedded into the screen that we dont even know about?
or maybe the screen also doubles as a camera? how ya gonna cover that with black tape?
just a hint, i know it sounds a bit paranoid but you should make your family aware that when they just sit their phone on the table that someone could be watching you thru the cameras.. how would you feel if you were fkng your significant other and some weirdo was watching? it is a good idea to put your phone somewhere where it can not watch or hear what you say.
also, have you ever been speaking about something and then all of a sudden you start seeing advertisements for that thing? like if i was to sit here(as a male) and just repeatedly speak the word tampon, i might start seeing tampon advertisements.
i have for a while suspected that these phones listen to us and they use that to serve up ads and to also profile you.
it is not conspiracy stuff to think that someone is watching you and/or listening to you thru your cell phone.

Phones are pretty easy to root compared to hard electronics. Also pockets don't get the greatest video, as such I find it unlikely that phones have useful data outside of your gps coordinates and all the photos and videos you take.
Just make sure those are innocuous, or that you're offline and you strip those files from your phone before you take it back online.

Google phones compile a list of all your actions like, walk, open door, cough, walk on snow, open car door, enter vehicle, start car, turn on radio, begin driving etc and then the compressed preprocessed data can be sent back to the mothership very easily. This can then be stored and used to better control you.

Partially correct... we can actually use this to our advantage. Don't have your phone with you when you're doing operational things, but take your phone with you when you're not operating. Thus they build an innocuous profile on you.
