Initially, these enhancements will be attained by embryo selection. Later, they will be done through gene editing. Costs should come down to the point where the middle class can have their own designer babies. At least, they will in the west. The rest of the world will be too poor to afford it.

Yes, but it looks like these post-human/transhuman technologies won't happen 'til a few decades later. Currently I don't think there is a company that is working on this, so we can only hope for now.
