His cowardice hit me hard though. I can't explain it. Maximum squandered potential I guess.

Yeah I felt similarly at the time when bowed out of the DNC race instead of fighting the rigging.

Chomsky is not for syrian intervention... I'd need to see a lot of proof for that

I agree. But Jimmy Dore has said it twice now. His vision may be limited, he may be a limitted hangout, he may be a comedian, but he wouldn't say something like that being such an Aggressive Progressive. It's a big thing to him.

Can you find a specific article that says he said he wants to invade Syria? Chomsky is pretty unilaterally anti-war, it's kind of his thing. I've read several of his books. I'd be blown away if he was advocating for US intervention in Syria

Ya. I've got at least 6 or 7 of his books. Hegemony was my fave.

He was my fave for a long time.

War is war, whether it's humanitarian support or whatever. Whether it's for the Kurds or whatever. Lately I've heard the Kurds are puppets too, so there's that.
